With natural harbours, bays, sheltered creeks, cliffs, reefs and submerged wrecks, the possibilities are endless.
Moreover, the prospect of a diving experience is just as tempting in winter as in summer... with sea temperatures averaging around 27ºC in summer and dropping to around 15ºC in December through to March. Visibility is excellent all year round in excess of 35 metres during some months. Malta is therefore a dream destination for the budding underwater photographer.
It is worthwhile mentioning that with just a couple of hour's flight from major European cities, the Islands are also easily accessible for long-weekend diving events programmes that could be part of your conference or meeting.
